Two ensembles from Friuli Venezia Giulia, musically very close, finally meet in a new collaboration, which brings together the sophistication of “Bareté Quartet” and the explosive energy of “The 1000 Streets’ Orchestra“.

This project was born out of the idea of arranging the pieces of “Mirage“, the last cd by Bareté, produced with label Barvin – Vincenzo Barbalarga, Rome – for an orchestra that could best accompany the sound of the new album.

The first product of this collaboration is the publication of the live video of Havana Strana, the album’s core piece, specially arranged for them by internationally renowned bassist and arranger Federico Malaman.

Listening to their work it is easy to discover different shades and textures which their music is endowed with. An ability of expression which, between rhythm and suspensions, finds in the jazz verve new spur and suggestions.
